Successful year 2011 for the String Quartet No. 2 «The Helvetic»

Written for the Carmina Quartet and commissioned by the Swiss cultural foundation «Pro Helvetia» the String Quartet No. 2 «The Helvetic» has been performed twelve times since its premiere in January 2011. It was played in three countries by four different string quartets. In spring 2012 it will have its german premiere at the «Konzerthaus Berlin» performed by students from Berlin and Paris. The Carmina Quartet will perform it again in the concert series «Music in the Castle» in Rapperswil, Switzerland in April 2012.
