Stringquintet «Rhapsodie» with the Alpha-Ensemble

The Alpha-Ensemble will perform the Stringquintet «Rhapsodie» (1990/2000) in three concerts in Zurich (13.10.), Basel (20.10) and Lucerne (1.12.). Other works in the program are by W.A. Mozart, B. Bartok, B. Romberg and A. Dvorak. The five outstanding musicians Denitza Kucera, violin, Keiko Yamaguchi, violin, Natalia Alexandrova, viola, Nicola Mosca, violoncello und Ermanno Ferrari, doublebass form a string quintet as a basic instrumentation. Their repertoire include works for all different combinations of their instruments, which makes the concertprograms more variedly. Since 2007 Fabian Müller is «Composer in residence» of the ensemble.
