«Extempore» at the Kunsthalle Dusseldorf - Evelyn Glennie & Petru Iuga

«Extempore», a duo for vibraphone and double bass for Dame Evelyn Glennie and Petru Iuga was commissioned by the Ensemble Kandinsky. It is a musical homage to the painter Agnes Martin. The world premiere took place at the festival Resonances in Sils-Maria in September 2015. As part of a performance of the Kandinsky Ensemble in the Kunsthalle Dusseldorf with guest star Evelyn Glennie, she and Petru Iuga will play the work in the midst of the paintings by Agnes Martin on January 27 and 28..
